LASI VII : Hveragerði, Iceland, 9-11 September 2025
We are pleased to announce the LASI VII workshop on “The physical geology of subvolcanic systems: laccoliths, sills and dykes”.
The LASI VII conference will be held in Hveragerði, Iceland, on 9-11 September 2025.
The mid-conference field trip on the 10th of September will take participants across the Reykjanes Peninsula. Post-conference field trips will visit different parts of East-Iceland in smaller groups to discuss LASI processes right where they occurred!
The LASI conferences gather specialists in volcanology, tectonics, structural geology, petrology, geochemistry, geochronology, geophysics, exploration geology, and modelers.
Previous meetings were held in Freiberg – Germany (2002), Skye – U.K. (2006), Elba – Italy (2008), Utah – U.S.A. (2010), Karoo – South Africa (2012), and the Neuquén – Argentina (2019).
